What was your hometown when you came to TCNJ?

Blacksburg, VA

Where do you currently call your hometown?

Santa Monica, CA

When you were studying here, where did you picture yourself after graduation?

What was your first job after graduating?

How do you use your Sociology degree in your current career and other activities?

Sociology really influenced how I think about our world, and I use skills I developed at TCNJ often in my work. An understanding of research methods, the research process, and data analysis are very important in my role. By working with professors on their research during my time at TCNJ, I had the opportunity to interview participants and analyze qualitative data — this experience has been especially useful.

What is your favorite "major memory" from your time as a Sociology student?

I have fond memories of my time in SOC302 with Dr. Clydesdale. I loved this class and spent so many hours with SPSS!

What is some advice you would give to your undergraduate self?

It's cliché, but don't be afraid of making mistakes! College is the perfect time to try new, exciting (and sometimes intimidating) things.
